NAWI Graz Advanced School of Science (GASS)
The NAWI Graz Advanced School of Science (GASS) trains excellent young researchers and highly qualified future managers for science and business. This is a cooperation platform of the doctoral schools of the University of Graz and Graz University of Technology. Doctoral students are integrated into doctoral schools across universities and benefit from supervision by teaching staff and researchers from both universities. Furthermore, a so-called dissertation committee supports the young researchers.
The aim is to establish a Graz Center of Excellence that ideally and optimally combines research and teaching. Innovations at the interface between knowledge-oriented and application-oriented research can thus be significantly promoted.

These annual mini-congresses bring together doctoral students from both universities to present and discuss the latest results of their research in the presence of professors. In addition, renowned researchers and industry representatives are invited to share current trends and aspects of chemistry with the students.
