Gemeinsame NAWI Graz-Professuren
The appointment of a new professor is always a major decision for a university, as it has a significant influence on how a subject is represented in research and teaching in the long term. Uni Graz and TU Graz have therefore also agreed on a joint approach in this regard, with at least one person from the partner university being a member of each appointment committee for full professorships. This ensures that, on the one hand, that there is alignment on the subject allocations of professorships and, on the other hand, that both universities are involved in the appointment decisions. In addition, this also has the advantage that the newly appointed professors are integrated into the NAWI Graz cooperation in the best possible way right from the start.
